Trubyville Rover Reporter Hannah This is Hannah reporting live, well I guess through the computer. I am going to be talking about what happened in my school day today.
Today, I walk in the gym, and sat down with my friends. My friend Donia said,"Hi Hannah. What animal our you doing for your report?" I said "The Koala." When I sat down I started to talk to all of my friends that were sitting there. The friends that were sitting there were Mary, Kasey, Casey, Erin, and Taylor. At my school we have a thing where when you get to school you have to go sit in your class line until your teacher comes to get you. When Mrs.T got there my class and I went up stairs and backed our bags and then went to the class room to do our morning sheet and vocabulary.
After, we did our morning sheet we went out to recess and then to P.E. In P.E. we ran for 12 minutes. Then, we did curl ups. Then, it was time for music. We had a sub, and her name was Mrs.Cox. She was subbing because Mr.Dary got sick. In music we watched a movie called, How The Grinch Stole Christmas. After, The movie was over we went over a song that us 5th graders are going to be preformed in our Christmas show. When we got back from P.E. and music my friend Kasey and I went to Mrs. Grannel's store and bought a pop from her.
Next, we did what we call town time. Town time is when 4 teams get together, and we pretend to be people in towns of England. We have a Queen, and the mayors of our towns our the only people that can approach her with questions. If the queen sees you playing around and not focusing on what you are doing then she has the right to take away your points.
After that we went to lunch. My mom brought me a subway sandwich and chips. I sat by my friend Erin and across from my friend Izzy.
We had 30 minutes to eat and talk quietly When the teacher dismissed us we went out to recess. At recess I jumped roped with my friends. At 1:00 we lined up to go to band. I learned a couple new songs in band today. After, band we did what is called D.O.L and the estimation jar. D.O.L. stands for Daily Oral Language.
After, D.O.L. and the estimation jar we did math. Today we learned a little bit about algebra. This is what we learned: point is the same as multiplying. At first I did not get it, But having an awesome teacher (Mrs.T) she does not leave you hanging or behind. She is the best 5th grade teacher on the face of the Earth. Thanks so much Mrs. Truby. You Rock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
